  1. Oh- don't stop eating just to lose weight.  You should look in the mirror and appreciate what you've got.  100 lbs would be a very bony weight and guys usually aren't attracted to bony girls.  Boys like to look at girls with b***s and butts, and you'll lose yours if you lose weight.  And your skin will suffer from the malnutrition, which is what anorexia is- voluntarily malnourishing yourself.

  2. Well that would be really thin for your height! Anorexia affects much more than your skin! Dry skin , thinning hair, not only does your appearance change but you can damage your kidneys, liver etc. I have a daughter that is 13 and have been battling this for 2 years with her. I have seen my child change so much! She also thought that she was fat and by no means was she at all. Please take care of yourself, because you will regret it later!

  3. yeah i don't think anorexia affects your skin. im a ballerina, and im 5'4 i weigh around 95-94. i was anorexic for a year and not one thing is wrong with my skin, the most is stretch marks in your legs and butt. but not big ones. but it wont matter or do anything to your skin if you just do it for like a month. just remember you gain weight for the first week of anorexia then you start to loose. good luck though.

  4. I can give you far more disadvantages of anorexia then your "skin" for god sake!

You can email me if you  want, i have a friend whos suffered with it for 5 years.

Edit: Anorexia doesn't just come and go. People are using the term too often, not knowing the full illness just characteristics, that does NOT necessarily mean you ARE anorexic, it mearly means you are on the way to becoming a full blown anorexic.

It's not a faddy diet, like the girl below ssuggests doing it for a month. That is not anorexia, people clearly need to be educated more.

  5. Your skin needs water.  Anorexia will dehydrate your entire body.  The skin will lose its glow and elasticity then start to sag.  5'5" at 123 is perfectly normal. Losing 20+ pounds in a few days would also be terribly hard on your heart.  That amount of weight should be lost over a 4 monthish period.  That way the weight will stay off.

If you feel that you are too big, try camaflaging with the appropriate clothing.  (Heels will help ...  Watch stripes...  wear patterns...don't have to wear skin tight to be flattering...)  good luck and be smart about this.
