  1. it slowly breaks down in the body muscles and stuff and it becomes so weak that you have to have braces on the legs to stand it can be painful towards the end. soemtimes it can tak long time and sometimes very short period depending on how fast you are doing this. your heart and organs also go amiss. they start having trouble and it will be failures all you hae to do is look it up like anorexi.com

  2. Well anerexia first affects the body because of the shut down on food. Your body thinks there is no more food and thats why your starving so it starts to slow down and save energy (thats why anrexic kids often faint because there so drained). Not having the nutrition you need effects your mind after awhile. You stop thinking logically and thats when they go even more overboard because there mind  makes them truly believe that starving themselves is the best thing to do because there mind makes them think they are fat. After awhile your body will use up all the energy and you'll be just a thin layer of skin and bones and your metabolism will be at such a slow rate because it has no food to digest and as I said before your body is trying to save energy. So everything in your body either slows down or shuts down to save energy. Your immune system will be very low and eventually if it is not corrected you will die of a simple infection your immune system will not be able to fight off.

Hope you get and A on your essay!
