  1. exhaust, trash being trown over bord, fuel/oil spills

    all kinds of ways.

  2. The boat or ship can be a good choice of transportation from an environmental perspective.

Yet we see damage from the wake of boats hitting shore, materials discarded in the water, 2 stroke engines that are not efficient and clean running.

The problem I have in describing this is that while most or all the bad things mentioned above are valid criticisms, they are not necessary or inherent problems from boating as a means of transportation.

One of the worst things done is to have a battery fall from the boat into the water and be left there.

  3. The gas and oil as well discharge into the water. Therefore making the water polluted.

  4. Marine fuel is leaded. That contributes greatly to pollution. Also, many boaters are slobs. They throw their trash in the waterways, because they can't hold on to it until they can dispose of it properly. People think the world is their garbage can and someone else will clean it up. But you know what? YOU are someone else.

  5. leaded gas has not been in production or available in North America since 1994,many of the outboard motors of today have less emissions than many cars ,propellers only go below the bottom of boats so they do not damage or destroy the weeds and if they are below the bottoms of boats the boater will do more damage to the propeller  and that can be very costly.Obey the rules of the water and practise safe boating practises and the environment and people around the water we co-exist just fine

  6. It upsets the fish and amoebas.

  7. Gasoline and oil discharge, discharge of sewage and trash, and injury to fish or mamals (ex. by striking manatees).

  8. exhaust pollution as well as gas and oil getting into the water have negative affects

  9. man made lake were not their 100 year ago. so let the boats rip on these lake

  10. Propellers cut the backs, faces, and tails of manatees.  Also, gas, oil, and general human pollution (trash/waste) is all part of boating.

  11. It doesn't.

  12. 1. Engine Disturb the water lives underwater

    2. Disturb the water current so as to make the rubbish flows here, and also disturb the underwater lives.

    3. People throw rubbish to water.

    4. Making boats require fuels, enhance global warming

  13. Propellers shread marine wildlife + Boat motors use an incredible amount of fuel.

  14. Basically, everything hurts the environment.  Kill yourself, save a manatee!!

  15. Who knows, maybe it upsets the fish.
