How does canvas duck cloth feel?

I plan on having some used in the making of a costume and was wondering if it felt nice.

  1. Here is a link for fabric description and it would feel like you are wearing a tent.  It is also used for painted floor cloths.


  2. A costume? It's going to be heavy and probably scratchy. They make chair cushion covers out of it.
