  1. car exhaust contains among other things CO2 which is (supposedly) a highly contributing factor to "global warming".  By the way it also comes out of your mouth when you exhale,  so we should probably kill off the old people along with everyones first born.  Oh one more thing, green plants thrive on CO2 so how come were not living in a freaking jungle.

  2. Some gases ("greenhouse gases") let sunlight in, which warms the Earth, and then block that heat from leaving. That's the "greenhouse effect", and it's a natural thing, mostly caused by water vapor.

Man is making excessive amounts of greenhouse gases, mostly by burning fossil fuels, like gas in cars. That causes the delicate natural balance to go out of whack and the Earth warms. That's global warming.

It won't be a Hollywood style disaster. Gradually coastal areas will flood and agriculture will be damaged. But it will be very bad. Rich countries will cope, but it will take huge amounts of money. In poor countries many people will die of starvation, but not all of them.

Most scientists say, in 20-50 years. But we need to start right now to fix it, fixing it will take even longer than that.

  4. Read this very carefully~~CAR EXHAUST DOES NOT CONTAIN CO2!!! IT IS CARBON MONOXIDE!!! Trees emit oxygen in the daytime and carbon dioxide in the nighttime (or maybe I got that backwards.) "Global warming" is nothing more than a paranoid delusion that got way too much undeserved publicity. THAT is the inconvenient truth!!

  5. Car gas although have lower emissions of non-methane hydrocarbons, but have higher emissions of methane and NOx. both of these gases are contirbutor to global warming.
