  1. A tsunami is a geological event, caused by tectonic plate movement ie. earthquake or volcano eruption, and has nothing to do with weather or climate.

  2. Ever shake a soda up and open it?  Well, the resultant spray is caused by CO2 emissions.  As the Earth warms, the oceans lose CO2...making them "flat".  Shake all you want with your earthquakes...there'll be no "pop".

  3. >When the epicenter of any earthquake comes beneath the seabed in any ocean , sea , bay ,etc. the water above gets displaced towards the landmasses resulting in high waves called the tsunamis.

    >Tsunami is a Japanese word.

    >Hence probably their would be no effect of climatic change on occurrence of Tsunamis.

  4. We might foreseek for the real events about the occurence of tsunamis.... it is a movement of the tectonic plate inside the earth called mantle.

But still the climate has a great factor in that phenomena. Once there is a big disturbance in the sky, the waves in the sea varies due to the humid air and the density of the clouds.

If the clouds becomes more reluctant and have an air strength more than the normal air, the sea waves is being affected.

The air and the density of the clouds affects directly the waves of the ocean and the sea called "tsunami" due to the strength of the air inside and outside the shore.

  5. Not at all. They are not affected by weather.

  6. In no way at all
