How does darwin's notion of descent with modification relate to the inheritance of traits?

and please explain how they show the inheritance of characteristics on both the molecular and organism levels

  1. hes right mendel would be a great genetics reference however in darwin studying evolution he studied inheritance of the traits aswell,decent with modification means evolution throught generations, so for example if your dad ran marathons all the time and loved running, you would most likely inherit long strong legs maybe stronger than his were.


  2. Darwin thought that all body parts independently contributed their own instructions that came together when sperm and eggs were produced.  He didn't realize that all genes were in all the cells.

  4. I am no expert but I think Darwin did not cover genetics in his treatise. Mendel is your man for genetics questions.
