How does de la hoya expect to lock a place in history by fighting mora instead of margarito? ?

in fact a fight with cotto even though he lost would be more entertaining and more deserving than mora. I just dont see the justification in this at all

I agree, Oscar has all ready locked his place in history as a boxer and consequently as head of Golden Boy.

Getting murdered by Margarito won't do much. He should just retire. Let Pacman fight a decent lightweight. Let Mora rematch against Vernon, and Marg should get back in with Williams. Oscar needs to retire.

There is no way de la hoya will fight Margarito!!I guess running from Margarito to fight Mora would lock place in history as a Chicken !!

Cotto or Margarito would crush de la hoya so he will do what he does ,that's take the high road and fight Pacman or Hatton.!!

If de la hoya wants to go out with a big fight then sign on to fight Margarito!!He waiting.

Oscar`s legacy was sealed a long time ago, (10 time world champion in 6  different weight classes)

he has fought the absolute best throughout his career,

so this fight wont really change anything , no matter who he fights

Is inevitable Oscar will be in the Hall of Fame soon. And well as far as history goes, all past events become history. Oscar is playing it smart by keeping a safe distance from Margo, I think Oscar feels safer fighting Cotto.
