  1. He's still young. He needs to develop his skills more and get more exp.His last fight against a "C" Class fighter, he was knocked down. He definatley has potential but not against the 135 champs right now.

  2. trust me bud, kahn really suks. he only fights blowen up super feather weights and wen he does go toe to toe witha natural lightweight...he gets floored!! he has a glass chin and will never get any where wiv his attitude, how can he seriously think he can even step in the ring wiv the pac-man!! i dont blame people though for supporting him though, it is his promtoer, frank warren, the man who will be the downfall of a thriving brittish boxing scene.  he makes it out as if he is world class but he is not and the amount of exposure he gets is unreal!! i feel sorry for any british level lightweight, whom most of which will be better than kahn, who struggle to make it in the sport while amir is a teenage millionaire simply 4 K.O ing sum bums of the street.

plz dnt support amir kahn - if ur going 2 back a brittish fighter pick sum one like carol frotch (some1 who is trying to make it in america). dnt jump on the kahn bandwagon - coz he's c**p.  he will fight the WBO super feather weight champ (alex artur) within the nxt year or so and kahn will get knocked the f**k out and u will never see him again, fighters like kahn are back by a false confidence that promoters such as warren give them.  prince nassen ring any bells hear?!? after a defeat never seems to reamerge? or audrey harrison, i think th sme happened here wif the false confidence thing!

  3. Hes one of the U.Ks best young prospects, he has incredible speed, agility, stamina, accuracy and a good ammount of strength, id say its just his chin that causes him problems but he also has some heart to back it up as he shown with Willie Limond.

Ready for a world title shot? Not just yet i dont think, im glad hes having another fight because he does need to keep up his defence so that his one weakness (chin) doesnt cause him problems in the future and i feel that one or two more fights will improve him big time, but yeah i can imagine how he feels, wanting to be a champ by 21 and if he does have 2 fights it'll obviously be by the time hes 22 but who knows? Maybe Frank Warren will dish him out another tough world class opponent similar to Gomez but this time, if he managed to dominate his opponent, i think it would give Warren and his managers the proof they need that Khan is indeed ready and prepared for a World Title Shot, he just needs to show in his next fight that hes top level with his speed/agility/strength/stamina and most of all, DEFENCE.

    Good luck to him still.

Answer my question too please? thanks.

  4. He needs to have a good few more fights before he challenges for a title. I watched every fight he had in the Olympics and I've watched every fight he's had post-Olympics. His defence needs a great deal of work to compensate for the fact that he has no chin. He is not good enough to fight for a title at this time. In his division Casamayor, Nate Campbell, Michael Katsidis, Juan Diaz, David Diaz, Manny Pacquiao, Zahir Raheem, Joan Guzman  would all knock him out if they fought tomorrow. He has tremendous handspeed, punching power and a lot of strength for a lightweight. He needs to acquire a trainer who will take him to the next level. I also think he should ditch Warren and get a promoter who wil take some risks instead of protecting him for as long as possible. He will be champion one day, but I've a feeling he'll win a mickey mouse title against a faded name before he wins a genuine title from a great fighter.

  5. YOU WILL BE A FOOL NOT TO. HE IS 21 NO RUSH BUT HE WILL BE LOSE IF HE GOES TO FAST LIKE HE WANTS TO.

HE IS A KID IN A MANS GAME SO HE IS GOOD WETHER YOU LIKE HIM OR NOT.

tyson was one of my heros yes i khow all about  that khan is not tyson

look what im saying i dont care if he become world at 21

he has 17 fights yeh he is a kid still but fights like a man

i think he should win a british title 1st  have a few fights 1st then step up  to that next lev..

is he the best in briton at his weight ?? he has to do that 1st id say he maybe the best at his weight

whats the rush for him to have  a world title now as he needs more fights 1st  i dont think he is on that lev yet...

im from manchester watch the fight tonite salford v manchester british title 1st title fight since the 40s to local lads

fight for a title.   khan lives 15 mins away he may fight the winner.. murry will test khan

then what about mitchle.  he can get beat  and world title not redy

khan is not tyson tyson a one off khan not...

  6. Amir Khan is a good boxer. He will eventually get a title shot and give it his all. But i dont think he will win. Tyson was champian at 20 years and 9 months i think?

  7. i think when he's ready for a title shot, he'll give a good account of himself....win or lose.

just because he's not dominating opponents like he's supposed to doesn't mean he doesn't  have what it takes.

    time will tell.
