For his first start of a pro football game, I don't think it was too shabby. How does everyone think the Pack is going to do this year?????

  1. rodgers wasnt all that great, but still wasnt that bad either. he played pretty well, considering it was his first start, but he just needs to be more consistent. i dont think that his interception was his fault, but he does need to work on placing the ball in just the right spot, so we will see how he does this year.

i think that the packers are going to be 2nd in the NFC North and they will miss the playoffs.

they will go 8-8 in my opinion.

  2. Well, you are correct in your assessment of Rodger's game last night. He didn't do horrible.  He passed 15 times, and completed 9 passes. Threw for 117 yards, had a completion percentage of 60.0, and his passer rating was close to above average at 79.0.  However Matt Flynn looked a lot better than Rodgers.  His passer rating was 84.8 and he completed 12 of 21 passes and threw for 97 yards.  I think that with more reps Rodgers will be good enough to win some games this season.  However I think the fact that he has not played a full NFL season, is what will be the telling factor.  He looked alright last night, but I believe his inexperience  and him being rusty from not being so active may hinder them from being a playoff team.  I predict their record will be 7-9 at best.  They have some good players on their team, but the fact is, they need a veteran just in case Rodgers or the other back ups can not peform.  I reccommend someone like Daunte Culpepper as their next guy..

  3. he played well, although it's still to early to tell.

  4. Well, you cant really say its his first start as a pro, because this is only preseason. But, i think he will do good with Green Bay.

  5. i thought he did well, he didn't play for very long but he held his own out there, this is only preseason, though, and it will be interesting to see how he plays throughout the regular season, i think the packers will go around 9-7 or 10-6

  6. Your very right he didnt do bad at all last night. He showed good mechanics with his reads and passing form. The interception last night we'll forgive him since the reciever missed the catch. He took care of the ball very well and didnt make any mistakes whats so ever leading them to a score even though it was just jones showing how strong he was.But all I can say is look for Rodgers to be the next Steve Young..yes I called it.The packs will go 10-6 this season and are going to get back to the NFC championship.Winning the super bowl uh thats a few years away so not gonna throw that in there this season.

  7. Rodgers did fine last night.  The Packers will be good this year as well.  They may slip a little in terms of record this year but they'll be no where the record that many Aaron Rodgers hater say the Packers will be.  I think they'll win the NFC north with a record of 12-4 and should make the playoffs.  Though this does depend on how healthy Rodgers can stay.  Thats the only issue that I have with Aaron Rodgers.  If he stays healthy and runs the team the way Mike McCarthy has designed it to be run, the team will be fine this year.  Can't wait for him to prove all the doubters wrong.  Aaron Rodgers will have better stats than Favre this year.

  8. He looked good but none of us know how consistent he will be yet.  That will be a big factor as far as how the Pack will do.
