  1. It is a square transponder a liitle larger a Klondike ice cream bar & about half of the thickness.  Once you get your account set up with Ezpass, get your transponder, & mount it to your windshield, all you do is find an EZ Pass lane when coming up on a toll booth & follow the instructions for speed, etc.  Sensors mounted over the approved lanes pick up the transponder & debits your account for the amount of the toll.  It takes care of the tolls in most New England states, Mid Atlantic, & WV.  You don't have to stop & wait for the toll collector.  It saves time & energy, but it can track you between tolls.  Good luck!!

  2. Eskimo Mom explained the mechanics but not the finances. You deposit money or use a credit card to fund your account. As tolls are deducted you need to replenish the account by depositing money or have it automatically charged from your card. Some agencies charge a small annual fee, some don't.

  3. now do you mean the transponder for tolls or

do you mean a bus pass in southern california?

Its also called an EZ pass  (the ez pass is valild on lots of diffenrnet carriers (Santa monica, torrance Long beach, Gardenta , and of course metro

to use you just show the ez pass to the bus operator and offf you go!
