  1. Its killing the trees of course. The bagging is paper and paper comes from trees. And then people are so inconsiderate and throw the trash on the ground. I try to stop my friends from littering because I hate it. the only time I litter is when I am spitting out seeds. Would you consider that littering. The seeds I mean.

  2. We all know the policies about how it is important to protect the environnement , not to throw everything anywhere , our world is not a garbage so everything at the right place.

  3. well

if people throw packaging on the ground it looks unsightly..

also if people dump packaging on the beach etc, it can destroy animals for example fish can get caught up in those beer ring things.

    I guess it destroys habitats

  4. ALL packaging effects the enviroment. EVERY store uses PLASTIC bags that take 500 years to degrade. That's what the so-call scientists say, but plastic has not been around for 500 years and they could be wrong. They have been wrong before.

  5. Packaging Contain PLASTICS that is not biodegradable, is melts for over 20 years and plastics release GREENHOUSEGASES that makes GLOBAL WARMING

  6. All packaging is damaging to the environment.  Yes, we can place it in a trash bin to remove the unsightly reminder of how much trash we really do produce.

The question how can we recycle discarded trash into reusable resources? With minimal impact on the environment.

  7. it waists such as

    paper plastic and other tools

and that stirofoam stuff in the box

    thats trerrible for the environment

  8. Some material can be recycled. But, it is made and  packaged in a FACTORY which lets out air pollution.  And it costs a fair amount of moola, but isn't that how it effects the economy, YES IT IS!!!!!  Also plastic is made with this one material that is technically toxic. When it melts, to form the plastic pacaging, it let's out pollution or hydrogases that cause global warming.

    GOOD LUCK!!!!

  9. well the plastics when littered upsets the soil balance and is harmful for the environment. it is not biodegradable and takes forever to decay because it is a man-made substance.

It can easily damage the environment. That is why most of the people carry paper bags rather than plastic.

  10. it costs alot to be made,

it then takes machinary which produces toxic gases to be made

it then uses fuel to be shipped to places to be used (pollution in the air)

it then gets wasted when its used as still the majority of people refuse to recycle it- and some packaging cannot be recycled

and so goes to a landfill where it wont rot and disintergrate for 100 years or more and thus causes pollution while its there, and emits toxic gases while it slowly does disintergrate

  11. With such demand for land use and products, not only do the locations themselves affect all areas, but also the way the food is processed. An example of these effects is pollution leading to bioaccumulation; which is caused when chemicals from fast food packaging get absorbed into the ground.
