How does firmwire work?

I dont get it, how do you put firmwire in your psp?

Do you have to connect a USB cord from your psp

to your PC?

  1. It's not firmwire, it's firmware as opposed to software. Firmware is routines/programs/data that is flashed into Read Only Modules (ROM or actually EPROM) chips. The data is flashed into the ROM/EPROM by another device, like a PC in your case at home connected with a USB cable. The firmware is in the software program that the PC runs to do the job.
