Everyone wants to know "How can ONE person make a difference?". To be honest, this isn't a one person problem. This is a worldwide problem that everyone needs to help solve.

If you stop eating meat, big deal.. one less cow has to be reared. But if 100 people stop eating meat, that is a significant number of cows reared, land clearcut, water wasted on growing foodstocks for the cows, corn eaten by the cows, etc. That is a significant amount of resources that can be re-allocated to serve another purpose, such as the re-diversification of plant life in that area.

The same principle applies to a million different things. Don't buy another car= less metal ore needs to be mined, less plastic needs to be manufactured, etc. etc.

If we all team up, we can restore the diverse wildlife that onced graced the earth, and one day... we might acutally be able to see LA!!

By removing chemicals from our daily life, we reduce fuel emissions, keep our water and air cleaner, save animals and plants, and SO much more! Have you ever stopped and thought about where the average person's soap suds, (which reeks with chemicals,) goes? It goes to your local water supply, which could be the ocean, a lake, a swamp, wherever. It destroys the cleanliness of that water and makes it unlivable for fish, coral, and so they all die, and the ones who CAN live there overpopulate themselves. Not going green throws the natural balance of life out the window and makes up its own rules, without thinking about ALL causes and ALL effects. Natural means you're not disturbing things too much to live the way you want. Doing all this also prolongs the already shortened life span of our Earth, which is great for our future generations. You would be amazed to see how something, like even wearing clothing made of Polyester, is bad for the environment. Do you even know how they make Polyester? Let's just say it's not a very natural process since it involves a lot of fuel emissions and stuff. And I won't even begin to talk about Pesticides. They're SO terrible for the environment that it puts me on edge just thinking about it. If we just went green, we could eliminate these problems and focus on our world becoming a better place. We'd be helping the environment to feel as though it were the way it used to be, friendly and clean. This is a dream I have, to make it everyone's priority to make our Earth healed once again.
