How does grad school compare to undergrad?

Is it a lot harder? I am signing up for grad school and just want to know what to expect

I suppose it depends on the program - my sister is in an MLS program and she said it's easier than her undergrad art major.  I'm in a physics PhD program, and the first two years I barely slept.  Even two classes can overwhelm you at times, not to mention most science grad programs expect you to be doing research and teaching labs at the same time.  It's a lot of work at first, but if you're going for the PhD after you finish the classes and qualifying exams you have plenty of free time to waste while 'writing your dissertation'.

For me grad school was way easier then undergrad!! I guess it depends on your major...but my classes had a lot of group work and you don't get a lot of homework or should i say busy work. Mostly i just had to write papers, which for some is a good thing and bad for others.  Overall I like grad school and got better grades then i did in undergrad!!
