I graduated with a magna *** laude and a GPA around 3.8 from a university in the US. I am looking at graduate programs in Canada. One of the requirements is a bachelor degree with first class honors. What does it mean for me? Does my *** laude falls under this category?

  1. Summa c.. laude = double first

    Magna c. laude = first

    c. laude = first,, but barely

extra points for the solution to the Kum problem.:)

  2. Yes, *** apparently too much like another word that  sounds similar, so they block it. But we get your meaning.

A 3.8 is the equivalent to a first class honours degree. You're good to go.
