How does greenpeace protect the environment?

Greenpeace help to save the environment by getting into the thick of it. They go out there and divert the Chinese's attention so they try to get rid of them instead of hunting the whales. they also do the crazy hippie stuff you would expect like going out to hug trees and protesting the the world is creating to much Greenhouse gasses and stuff like that.
