How does growing up poor affect me?

Question

I've grown up sometimes having money issues i already know how it makes me feel emotionally or socially ,but generally does it make me grow for example?

I often feel like I will be successful since growing up with little makes me value and work harder for finer things in life.

When I grew up poor.  It can effect you I guess in some ways depending on where you live and stuff.  I think growing up poor means effects people different depending on what their own realization is in society.  In my case it does make me work hard.  I still spend most everything I get.  I suppose it can have some lasting emotional impacts depending on how you were raised growing up poor.  In my own personal experiences just because I didn't have some things that other folks did, that didn't necessarily make me envious or jealous of wht they owned or had.  It didn't bother me that much if others made fun of the clothes that I wore because I had outgrown them.  There were other kids who I hung around with who were the same way. I am better off than what I was when I was a kid but Im still just a labor class person who appreciates simple things. I dont need to have a fancy house or fancey car.
