Im going on a family vacation in one week, i want to take my electronics ( Ipod, PSP, portable DVD player and camra). We will be camping 5 days in a pretty hot climate. I was wondering if i kept my stuff in the tent or car would the heat destroy them? Any suggestion on what i could do to better my chances? so i could still take my electronics and have fun.

  1. They should be fine in a tent. Just try to keep your stuff out of direct sunlight. I always bring my cameras with me when I go camping with my family. I wouldn't leave them in the car though. I've seen some electronics that have melted from being left in the sun in a car.

  2. Have fun.

  3. Heat messes up anything electronic. It actually ( in a nutshell) causes much unwanted resistance to the fragile static sensitive surface mounted parts inside. Moisture is present also and we all know electronics and moisture don't go together.
