  1. I find helping others stops me thinking about myself so much.

I believe we were put on earth to help others.  Service I guess, is what it is called.  We are not here to be selfabsorbed.  We are here to give of ourselves.  When we do that, it makes us feel better and be more appreciative of what we have.

    Try it, it works!

  2. I don't know if this is just me... but I'd rather see others happy than do something for myself. Seeing other people happy makes me happy. :)

  3. Tis better to give than to receive!!

  4. Try it out and let us know how it does.

  5. The giver receives the gratitude of the receiver, the knowledge that he has relieved some suffering, and I believe provides a function of atonement to an extent, changing one's view of one's self.

  6. Lady.. if you are thinking of helping others then stop bothering about if they are going to help you or not.. because you are help them and its not good to expect them to help you when you are in need..

thats totally my way of thinking...it depends upon you, how you take it
