hisotry is a hard term to define. How does history define civilization?

The definition of history is the recounting of past events.

Not all events are worth historical study.  The events studied (or, facts chosen) are those that promote pride in one's country, or civilization.

A way of life, or a sophisticated way of life that is unique in its own. It's unique in the culture, values, that has its own identity basically.

some form of government

laws

classes of people who dont work for foor (artists, merchant, etc)

military

agriculture

there are more, but those are the big ones
