  2. I suppose one could do things that help develop you as a human being but that add no economic value. But the two are more likely to be coincident -- as in obtaining education.

  3. Economic development,  is an important indicator directly related with the  poverty statistic of a country, or  region,  to be weighted.

    Therefore,  it represents a strengthen criteria to generate the resources necessary for human development and environmental protection.

    This knowledge, human develpoment indicators,  permit us  to do  a strong correlation between gross domestic product (GDP) per capita and indicators of development such as life expectancy.

    Another indicators related are: the  infant mortality, adult literacy, political and civil rights, and some indicators of environmental quality.

    However, economic development alone does not guarantee human development.
