  1. Do you mean..how does being an immigrant impact the view of the "American Dream"? WELL i personally believe that people who dont have much are obviously the one who appreciate things more than other who grew up with it. Therefore I think that many people who have immigrated to the US strive to be normal, to be part of the community and be able to live day by day with "normalities" such as eating, GOING TO SCHOOL( education), and especially the opportunity to give someone else the opportunity (children) to live better. As American we want to do good, we want better, we always want more for little and then we have some of our immigrant friends who simply want to be able to be in our spot....The odds are always against them and people who succeed do it through alot of effort...imagine if you live in the middle class, immigrant, live pay check to pay check, and still attended school...going to school is a big disadvantage and hard because once your out of HS your on your own no financial aid, and there is usually no family contribution.........when it comes down to it their dream is our dream to have a carrier or business, a family and the luxury to do and go places...but of course its WAY harder for them do it due emploment issues and other stuff

  2. The American Dream is something that draws people to immigrate to the US. and it is first and foremost called the "American Dream" by people who have done just that, everyone today has this sense that people can "pull them up by their bootstraps" or pull an "Andy Carnegie" it is these things that have demonstrated that the American Dream is possible, but for many, if not most who come here seeking it it is not a dream but a fantasy.

  3. Immigration is the enactment of the American dream, as immigrants come to America to fulfill it.

  4. I dream of more Asians migrating to the U.S.

  5. Well firts of all the american dream people who come to this country looking for new opportunities and a better style of life, immigration effect on these peoples dream is that they get deported, it like migration is only following rules, so this means that the people searching for the american dream dont get the chance to do it because they get sent back.
