i injuried my hamstring ankle and calf a couple months ago and it had fully healed...i had my athletics carnival a couple weeks ago and i trained and everything but i didnt go good in my running events and i usually run in the 13 second and i got a 15 second.

just wondering if this could be due to the injury not being properly healed

  1. I agree with the guys you probably weren't up to fitness maybe your body was checking you down in training without you realising it the body protects itself give yourself time make sure the injury is fully healed with gym work I don't thnk you have given us enough detail to analyse your injury and its effect eg time of training how long after the injury you were back to full training what your rehailitation as did you do anything during the injury pool work gentle stretching etc

  2. There are two possible anwsers to this question. The less likely is that the injury hasnt fully healed yet. I don't know what you did to your muscles but if you tore them it would take a lot longer than a few months to heal and if you ran it would feel tight and it would hurt. The second more likely anwser is that you just arnt back up to the same fitness level as before the injury. When you get injured those muscles will lose a lot of their strengeth so if you haven't trained to get back in shape yet that is probably why you ran a slower time.
