  1. Well, that depends on a great many things.

Food: Do you eat out alot, or like to cook in?  If you eat out 5 nights a week, budget around 100 Euros for 1 person.  If you cook in more, 100 Euros can last you 2-3 weeks.

Rent:  If you can find roomates and don't mind living in an apartment where you only have a small bedroom to yourself, you can get by at 200-300 Euros per month.  A studio apartment to yourself can be 700-900 Euros per month, depending on location.  A larger apartment with bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom can be 1200+ Euros per month.

Commute: If you take the bus and metro exclusively in Paris, and don't need to regularly go outside the city, you can get an unlimited pass for about 50 Euros a month.  For a car you will have to pay much, MUCH more.

Those are just the basics.  If you like to go out alot to bars and clubs and drink, your costs are going to increase dramatically.  Movies, museums and exhibits are better choices for entertainment.  Deals and reduced prices are readily available.

  2. Look at http://www.paris35.com for accomodation

  3. For example 85 squared meters in center of Paris (near gare de Lyon, it is not the most famous places of Paris, but correct) : about 3000 $ per month.

    (3 bedrooms + living)

    Restaurant : about 25 $ for a middle dinner.

Metro is cheap. About 1.5 $ for Paris intra muros.
