How does it feel for you to slaughter an animal and disembowel it while still warm?

i remember when i was a kid shooting field sparrows for food and i felt so guilty then thinking about their families. Gradually, i got used to it and progressing in doing on bigger animals like chickens, turkeys,rabbits and goats.But with cows, i dare not. I feel pity for them even just by looking how they are killed.

There's a great feeling of satisfaction and joy that people will have food on their table tonight. I don't have any other feeling for my action or for the animal - whether guilt, remorse, pity or hatred - it's just that I wanted to eat it, and it had to die in the process.

I have gone hunting...and killed two bucks...male deer with horns....we hunted them to eat them as well as the fun of hunting. I am a female, and I shot them myself, field dressed them(disemboweled), as well as drug them out of the woods by myself....and it felt good to accomplish that.

I live in the country.  I have many family members that hunt.  I don't think that I could ever do it myself, but I would much rather know that a deer was killed humanly and eating for nourishment than to see it hit by car, suffering on the side of the road before it dies.  You have to look at it as the circle of life.

as long as you eat your kill i don't see a problem in it at all. it's human nature to do this because humans are animals and most all creatures kill for nutritional consumption.

I think it disgusting I eat meat but I will completely loose my appetite if I see it get killed and cooked I cant watch the process its sickening......
