  1. i got a small one but the lines did hurt worse than the shading.  I dont care what anyone says it doesn't feel good!  I mean i have felt worse but its not something i would get addicted to like some psycho's out there, its a pain but not so bad that your gonna cry or anything.

  2. it just does you'd have to experience it to know. it sort of tickles.

  3. It really makes a difference where you get them on your body, how the artist tunes his machines, and your own pain tolerence. Women almost always have a much higher pain threshold than men, and are easy to work with. Some places are so easy to get worked on, that you barely have any discomfort. You might ask your artist if he uses a Martini machine (8 wrap coils) as they are real gentle on you, and can be run at well under 10 volts. Some places, where the skin is thin, or real close to the bone, are going to be more sensitive. But they're not THAT bad. If they were, do ya think so many people would have 'em? Oh yeah, the stroke is longer on a shader than a liner. You would think that since it goes deeper, it would hurt more, but it doesn't. More needles in a shader equals less pain. Go figure.

  4. It all depends on how you take pain. First and foremost, you have a needle(s) piercing through your flesh, of course it hurts no matter where the spot is. Some spots hurt more or less than others. If you love pain like some people I know, of course you're gonna say it doesn't hurt or after a while you just get used to it and the pain doesn't really bother you anymore. For my tattoos, I wouldn't really say it "hurts" more like an annoying pain and the sound of the needle doesn't help at all. Lol. But, if you're trying to get a tat, go for it. Everyone is different. Only you would know what's painful to you. P.S. Tattoos can be addictive. I have eight. I personally don't know one person who has just one tattoo. :o)

  5. Where did your cousin get her tattoo?  The amount of pain you feel depends on the placement of the tattoo and your resistance to pain.

Let's put it this way, the more tender and fatty the area, the worse the pain.

  6. its like s*x it gets better and better

  7. It hurts period. The faster they do it the worse it hurts - so I like to get someone that does them fast because it's over really quick.

And those who say it feels good are just trying not to sound like *******. It hurts everyone - some people actually enjoy pain (a few percent of the population) because they know how to turn it into feeling like pleasure. But most people it hurts them - don't believe everything you hear!

  8. i thought mine felt a like a bee sting. or hitting your funny bone: it hurts a bit and tickles at the same time.

then again, it does depend on where you get it.

  9. There is a tat shop in my town and their business card says

    "F$#@ Yeah, it hurts!"

It don't hurt forever.  No Big.

  10. It feels cool.

  11. it hurts if u  are young but when u get older it dose not hurt and the neddle hurts because it goes back and inside

  12. I wouldn't say that getting a tattoo feels good. I also would say that lining hurts more than shading. Personally a tattoo doesn't hurt at all. It is more like an irritating burn. Like if your arm is itchy and you scratch it too much. Sort of like that. It is more irritating in different places. Some places that are tender, do hurt. But it is bearable. If it wasn't why would people get them?

  13. All tattoos hurt but it does release endorphins. Kinda like eating really spicy hot sauce...

  14. it hurts thatz all i got 2 say...

  15. It hurts so much like they are removing one of your limbs. That is how much it hurts.

  16. Feels itchy at first but then it kinda feels like a part of your skin.

  17. It's better then s*x! =)

  18. The outline hurts worse because there is less needles involved.  Less needles=more pain; more needles=less pain.  The tattoo gun is basically like a sewing machine; the needles dip up and down quickly to insert the ink deep into your skin.

Certain colors hurt more (in my experience)  I've found red to be the worst.

"The shading feels good" because once you get past the agony of the the outline/blackwork, it actually DOES feel good!  It feels like a bunch of bee stings, all going on at once.

Tattoos are addictive, once you get one it's all over with.  You will want more.  Most people hate their first tattoo, hence the popularity of things like Wrecking Balm!

  19. it feels like a needle pokng ur skin 585875874857 times a second

    YOU LIKE THAT?!

  20. Cause once you get past the lining the shadding just feel MUCH better. You have to get one to know.

  21. most people will say the outlining does hurt more than the shading. It feels good the way a roller coaster feels good - like your chest hurts but it feels good anyway? its like a rush.
