  1. Ummmmmm... I am answering this question without really understanding what you mean by a 'listening exercise' but based on my own experience it would mean listening and answering questions on what you heard.

    How does it feel?   Good.   It is always good to learn.

    We learn by listening and reading.


  2. Has your mom ever told you a story, then said "Mahab, are you listening to me?" You, of course, said yes and she responded "Then what did I just say?"

    It's like that.

    But seriously, think of any conversation you've had where the other person did all of the talking, then asked you what you thought. It is a little bit more focused (instead of asking you about the broad themes, you get asked about small details), but it feels basically the same.
