How does it take to process a UK tourist visa if you apply in Dubai?

As far as the process was last year when I applied;

You fill out the application form, add your supporting documents (passport, photo, personal account & credit card statement, flight & hotel booking, travel insurance, invitation letter (if any), ...)

Then you book an interview with the embassy. As far as I recall, all interviews are around 7 AM, be there sharp or even in advance, take a token, then when it is your turn you submit the documents, have a short chat with the officer.

Then sit for about half an hour. They will give you the slip, if accepted you must come back the same day around 2PM to collect your passport & Visa. Thats it !

It is very easy. I only needed a 10 day visa, which they gave a 2 month multi-entry visa instead !!!

But note that you must be resident in UAE for I guess a year or so, before you can apply form here!

You should get a tourist visa for 60days stamped in your passport when you arrive her if you are a uk passport holder.  It's that simple!
