How does medicaid find out how much you make?

does medicaid know how much you make even if you dont tell them what your income is

  1. The Dept of Revenue and other government funded plans communicate with each other.  The DOR sends Quarterly income reports.  

    I know somebody who was cut off because they no longer qualified.  The DOR report was sent to Medicaid.


  2. If you work for a reputible employer you will have Medicaid/Medicare and Federal taxes (and State) taken out of every pay check.  It's the government, they know everything!
