  1. Decreases tension.

    Increases oxygen levels in the body (deep breathing)

    Slows down the brain which helps with clearer thinking.

    Helps energy flow in the body.

    Helps strengthen the immune system.

    Relaxes the body (like taking a 20 minute nap does)

    Increases creativity.

    Decreases High Blood Pressure and other diseases which result from stress and anxiety.

    With me, it helps with all the above.


  2. Meditation slows down the thinking mind that clouds up our consciousness with chatter, endlessly. When  we chose to learn the discipline of meditation  we can benefit from it on many levels. Physically we benefit in ways such as lowering blood pressure, more oxygen flows through our system feeding our vital organs from the deep breathing that often begins the meditation session, we sleep better and are generally less stressed. From a more 'spiritual' perspective we gain many benefits also. We may feel intense joy like we are joined with a higher truth about ourselves, we may become 'inspired' with answers to nagging questions or problems, during the meditation time or perhaps just later that day, like an AH-HA moment.  

  3. It totally puts you in a differen't world and makes you feel soo much more relaxed. I also am so much more thankful for what I have in life. You start to take less and less, then nothing for granted. You are thankful for everything and learn so much about mother nature, life, and soo much more. It's great for the body and mind.

  4. helps to relax yourself, helps you work out problems, find peace. If you are talking about crystal meditation (which I do almost everyday), helps you journey to other planes of existence, find inter peace, empower yourself, and much more.
