  1. Read a book.

  2. He's got a suit designed by NASA to help him cut through the water better.

He's swimming in a pool designed to cut down on wake, allowing swimmers to perform faster times.

He's using two swim caps to cut down on drag.

He shaved that weird mustasche thing to cut down on drag.

He eats alot so that he has enough calories to burn while swimming that fast.

    Shall I go on?

  3. 1. He needs nutriologists to know what to eat.

    2. Maybe he needs a specially desinged swimsuit.

    3. He uses breathing techniques to swim faster and longer

    4. He needs a doctor to know how hard he can train and for how long.

    I think those are some

  4. I am sorry, I can only give you one. You know that one race where it was down to one one-hundreth of a second. Well his arms moves faster in air than in water so thats what gave him the extra one one-hundreth of a second to win that gold medal.

  5. EPO

  6. I'm assuming this is some sort of homework question you were asked?

Michael Phelps doesn't use any science to help him, the creators of his swimsuit do though. It's like asking us gymnasts how we use physics in our sport by calculating the inertial forces driving our body foreword through multiple skills on floor ;). Simply put, that's not how athletes work.

  7. pharmacological science

  8. cool
