How does motorists go from USA (Main Land) to Hawaii?

Question

I never Main Land (USA) and Hawaii Islands are seperated and I was wondering how motorists get to any part of Hawaii from main land?

If possible, can you tell me name of ferries that goes to Hawaii for car drivers?

I just curious and I don't drive.

Say what?  Please proof read your questions before posting because this one only makes sense if you ignore the words used.  "I never Main Land (USA) and Hawaii Islands ..."

Anyway, too answer your question, the trip is too long for a ferry.  If you wish to take your own car, you will have to ship it either as sea or air freight.  This is somewhere between very and extremely expensive.  It will be much cheaper to fly to Hawaii and rent a car on each island that you visit.

if you mean how are cars shipped from the Island to the Mainland

there are ships (cargo ships) that ship cars and other stuff

between the Island and the Mainland for sure its not cheap

but I have seen cars here in California with Hawaii license plates

There are no ferries from the Mainland to Hawaii.  If you want to bring your car here, you have to ship it with a company like Matson and you fly.

Most folks who come to Hawaii rent a car.  If they're visiting someone, they might be able to borrow that person's car.

There are no ferries to Hawaii. Cars must be shipped as freight to get them to the State of Hawaii. Cargo and Cruise ships take about a week to travel to Hawaii.There is one ferry available or travel betwen the Hawaiian Islands.

motorists can't go to Hawaii from the mainland.  You have to fly or take a boat.

The state of Hawaii is made up of 6 islands:  

Kauai

Oahu

Molokai

Lanai

Maui

Hawaii's Big Island

and you have to fly or travel by boat between the islands.
