If you know of a website I could go to to find out I'd be all ears for that too.

  1. This will vary by county - you need to contact the KC chamber of commerce and business license dept.

Also the requirements for a chiropractor and a massage practice may be completely different, so you'd better find out what they both are (massage practices have funny rules about working out of the home, where chiropractors often do it).

    Good luck.

  2. You'll need to contact the local planning and zoning dept. to find out. Each municipality will have its own regulations. Just check with your city hall planning & zoning dept.. The phone # will be in your phone book. Or check for your city's web page.  If you are really in Kansas city jurisdiction and not another smaller city within KC limits then they will probably have it on their web page some place.

Check out the 2nd link for the zoning ordinances.
