How does nail polish remover work on super glue?

  1. it breaks the bond through a chemical reaction that slightly softens the glue enough to separate the bond.


  2. Nail polish contains acetone which attacks the glue fibers, breaking down the chemical bond.  

  3. The acetone disolves the glue or softens it enough so it becomes unstuck.  Not sure how but thats how they remove artificial nails.

  4. not sure but if tring to clean up super glue

    paint thiner works very well and also gas if not in side closed space

    ( plus the smell is not smell good )

    also a blow drier or heat gun

    super glue does not like high temps (sum kinds)
