I'm not quite sure what you mean by his second law.  "For every action is an equal and opposite reaction"? The ball flying away from a fist is the opposite of the forward motion it once was in. Then the law of degrees applies also.  the degree off center you hit is the degree, exponentially, the ball will move from its original track.
