How does one apply for a job?

Im wanting a job, and there are so many "we're hiring" signs around its tempting, The job age in our city is 15, im that age, but im unsure of how to get my application and other legal stuff done, please answer, thank you!

  1. Due to child labor laws there are very, very, very few places willing to hire a 15 year old.  Try for jobs like bagger at a grocery.  That's your best chance, although you might have to wait until you are 16.


  2. all  they  look at is that you look presentable( no baggy jeans long shirts that look like pajamas) you should bring your social security card some other form of id and your student workers permit.  if you get an interview on the spot (thats why you need to go presentable) smile keep eye contact thank and good bye ..basically be a kiss a** lol

  3. There is no city age limit. The age limit is depending on the sort of place it is. Retail you have to be 16. Gas stations and bars you have to be 18.  At 15 your only options are pretty much restaurants. You go in and say "May I have an application please". Then you fill it out and wait for them to give you a call.
