How does one become a NATO troop?

I would like to know how it is someone becomes a troop for NATO, like i dont understand if NATO has its own military or if its a joint task force.

Join the military of a NATO country.

NATO isn't an Army, it's a collective of Countries. NATO doesn't have it's own troop's it's simply a collective of Countries with similar ideal's. So you would want to join a NATO Country.
