  2. You either join a political party and represent them or you stand as an independent and file your own application when elections are near. Before this I suggest you try for your local Parish Council and get some experience of procedures etc.

  3. Run for city councilor.

  4. Join a credible political party and be an active participant so that you could nominated as candidate for city council.
