How does one become a democratic delegate?

First, locate your local Democrat Party office/headquarters in your town or city.

Second, check your brains at the door.

Each State has it's own process but basically you contact your State's Democratic Party, they send you lots of information and forms, you fill them out and then you run for the position like many other elected positions.  There are several types of delegates and each has different rules.  There are lots of other ways to get involved too!  Check it out!

The first step would be to become active in your local democratic party.  It also helps to be an elected official.  Know that the person who puts stamps on envelopes has more political power than the person who doesn't help the party, but only votes.
