Not sure where you are located but here in Florida there is a school called Gold Coast that provides a course to become a home inspector. There is no licence required by the State, its just a course to teach you how to do it. Check your local area, any place that offers the mortgage broker course may also offer the home insp course.

to certification. Too many bogus inspectors

are out there......
