How does one become a nascar driver?

My dream to...

I have a amateur go-kart track in my backyard.(1 lane,no stands and other stuff kart tracks have)

I practice on it every day!

What I do is I learn about stuff real drivers do.(drafting,passing,etc.)

What I have done many times...

Go to a race!

You would get an idea of what and how you would do things in a NASCAR car!

First you have to start dating your sister and put both your house and cars up on blocks. lol

first you have to get a drivers liesence

then uyou go to college and get a degree in driving

finally you go to a track and qualify

It really helps  if your family owns a race car (has money) like a lot of young drivers.  To start,  maybe you should be at least under 16 and hang out  at dirt tracks.

The question really is have you ever done 180 mph and how long have you done it for? If you did it for over half hour you might have a chance... Try it out have fun and enjoy. Oh yeah and for good practice try it with the heat on...

you probably have to start racing like..go karts or something.

then work your way up.

the better you get the more attention you'll get.

it'll take alot of hard work.

Look into Legends cars. I have done it and many drivers from that series are now making a statement. See Kyle Busch, Reed Sorenson, and Joey Logano. The cars are sick and they teach you car control. If not that, look into street stock or go carts. You have to start from the bottom.

And remember this, go to the track and help people out. If you work hard you will get a chance to drive one day. It takes work. First thing to do is go to the track and meet the right people. Dirt, asphalt, doesn't matter. See who is fast and start talking to them.
