lol if its that bad then just get one out the machine in a public toilet. besides its not embarrassing, u can just go up to the till with your glorious purchase and smile the "yeah, i'm about to have s*x" smile.

Go to a shop where you know you can get them that isn't busy at the time and you won't feel as pressured.

Lets just say buying them at your local supermarket is a no no - who knows who you might run into :)

why feel like a moron, youre getting some!  you should be proud you are sexually attractive and desirable, and able to have good, healthy safe s*x. nothing to be embarrassed or ashamed of at all.. chances are the person at the counter will be jealous.

There is really no way to do it without the slight embarrassment you may feel.  Just remember that by purchasing condoms you are practicing safe s*x which is something good.  Just walk in, grab the brand you want and walk proudly up to the checkout counter and pay for them with the feeling that you are doing the right thing.

Why would buying condoms make you feel like a moron?

Sounds less like an issue with buying the condoms and more like an issue of being comfortable with your own sexuality.

When I felt self-concious about buying condoms when I was younger I would buy something else with them so that it wasn't so much "HEY LOOK AT MY CONDOMS!".  Like a t-shirt or a package of underwear or something.  Now that I'm older I don't really care, I buy condoms while I'm grocery shopping.  It is just something my husband and I need, like toilet paper.  It's not really any more embarassing than buying pads.

in my younger days, I felt more uncomfortable with a box of tampons than with condoms!!.... realize that you're among the smartest of the sexually active out there and buy them with  your head high and a slight grin on your face!!....

You're not being a moron you are being safe. If you really feel uncomfortable then buy them with other things like food etc so that it doesn't feel too bad. Don't buy them on their own.

i had the same problem. check online nd find the top 3 you'd wanna buy incase they are out of 2 types nd just walk in there nd buy them. unless the cashier knows you they wont say anything.
