Once, in college, a classmate came just as we were sending people home from a party.  We let her and her date in to dance just one dance, while we were cleaning up.  All of a sudden, we had half the basketball team, and more at the door.  My cousin and his friend convinced them to leave.

I think she dropped out of school, because I didn't see her after that.  She clearly had some serious problems.  (There were no other young women...just her and the team...)  Sometimes you can see a problem coming and help someone sort it out, but I didn't really know her well, and this frankly scared me.

Get together with everyone lese and agree that you;re going to make the gatecrashers feel REALLY awkward. Start having long conversations about stuff they know nothing about, and exclude them from the fun games.
