How does one drop hints about being submissive?

Well, I am talking to this guy right now & I have an interest in him. How do I let him know that I want "to be led" (for lack of a better term of words)? I don't want to be overt w/ him but I do want to drop hints to let him know that I am indeed, a traditional woman. I know it sounds like an oxymoron, but how can I go about doing this w/o seeming like a doormat/pushover?

If you're just talking to a guy and not really dating him it would be weird to ask him to be the dominate one....O_O

You answered your own question you ARE a Doormat, a Pushover *yes I capitalized these words*. There is no such thing as a "traditional" woman there is however such a thing as a woman with no common sense or sense of self worth. It is GOOD to have control of your own body, mind, and existence. If you don't believe this is true, then I think it best that you exchange yourself with one of the girls in this world that was sold as a s*x slave or as a child wife for an unpaid debt. A lot of them now what it's like to not control their own lives and they wish they didn't know. You need to be careful of who you allow to *wipe their feet on you*.

I don't know that you need to worry about dropping hints. I would think he would be able to tell by the way you treat him.

If you are submissive it will show in your actions and he will naturally take the lead.

Maybe you can say "I like when a man tells me what to do as long as he still respects me."  Or "I can be a little submissive now & again."  Just be careful of those who like to use others.  Good luck!

You don't tell him anything, you show it to him. Of course he isn't your husband, but there are ways to show your boyfriend how you appreciate him without being a pushover.

l**k his boots and watch his reaction closely.  If he looks surprised and disgusted, drop him like a hot potato.  He wouldn't be enough of a dictator for you,  so move on.  

Leave the decent guy to a woman who would appreciate him.

Submission will show in the way you naturally speak to him and act around him. If he seems reluctant to notice and to take the lead, then it's likely he's not the dominant man you're looking for.

If you wanted to try something more direct, you could casually mention something about traditional relationships and see how he reacts, or subtely encourage him to make decisions for you both - just small things, like where you're going to eat. A truly dominant man will never see you as a pushover... he'll just be happy to have found you.

Not every traditional woman as you put it is submissive dear. You know SAHM can be gasp EQUAL and not submissive as you call it.  Just tell him.
