How does one get from FCO to Piazza Campo in Rome?

I am looking for the least expensive way to get from the FCO airport in Rome to Piazza Campo de Fiore. Is there a subway or bus line that stops close by? This trip will be on a Sunday, but I assume that all of the regular public transportation works on that day.

thanks,

  1. From FCO, follow the signs to "Stazione FS" and take the train to Roma Termini.  The express is €11.  Unfortunately, there's no metro stop nearby.  But, you can take bus line #64.  I've never been on that bus before, but it will take you all the way to the Vatican.  But since it is pretty much "the tourist bus", it is known as the "pickpocket's special" :-)

The train from FCO runs pretty much every 30 mins.  For the bus schedule, check here: http://www.atac.roma.it/
