  1. Well, you have various options, but presuming you've got some luggage with you, the easiest (and in any case one of the quickest) route would probably be the following:

    DLR from City Airport station to Canning Town station

    Jubilee line from Canning Town to North Greenwich (1 stop)

    then bus 422 or 486 to Bexleyheath

    (The most direct route, as the crow flies, would involve going to North Woolwich and taking either the free ferry to Woolwich, or walking through the foot tunnel under the Thames, but I reckon the route above would be a lot less hassle and quicker too)


  2. go to the Transport for London website

    www.tfl.gov.uk

    and use the journey planner

    I just entered London City Airport and Bexleyheath (or you could put the postcode of the address you're trying to reach) and it brought up a selection of ways of travelling ... you need to look at them and decide which is best for you
