How does one get promoted in Mcdonalds?

I have been working there for 4 months now ,i work part time at the weeks ends becuase i have college

Was wondering how the promotion system works

You won't be promoted if you are just weekend help.  

You need to be trained in everything, be an example for the crew, become a trainer, be a motivator, work more hours, then they will consider you for management.

4 months is too short of time period to get a promotion esp. since you work part-time, which I understand why. You need to be a hard worker and show your supervisor that you can handle more responsibilities. Good luck

Show them what you can do.  Be willing to do anything in the restaurant, and do it well.  Never be tardy or absent when you are scheduled for a shift.

Take on extra work and extra responsibility.

When working with the public give excellent customer service.

Let them know you are interested in being promoted.
