  1. you have to donate a lot of money to a presidential campaign

  2. Befriend a Bush! Just kidding. (Not really, though!)

  3. To become a diplomat you must pass the exam that you can take once a year you must be healthy, ready to go anywhere and you need to take a month or two training course to be a FSO i'm not sure about specialists expect for Diplomatic Couriers. my dad says about all they do is bring parcels to embassy to embassy

  4. Go to the link mentioned in the first answer.  The best route is to become an FSO - Foreign Service Officer.  They are gearing up to announce the test date, probably a month or so from now.  So if you hurry and order the study guide you can prepare for it.  There may be a testing site near your area.

Actually, I am planning on taking the exam and already have the study guide.

The test consists of two parts:

    1. The written exam and an Essay (Must pass this before proceeding the the Oral exam)

    2.  The Oral exam.

    3.  Comprehensive Background check and Medical check.

    Good Luck

  5. Become a foreign service officer in the State Department: http://www.careers.state.gov/officer/rol...

  6. Go pick up a 'Diplomat'  work application at the employment office.
