How does one go to sign up to audition for America's Got Talent?

I went to the website, but I didn't get anywhere with it. Contestant shows want videos made by the participant and mailed in, but . . . where?

Check back at the website in 4-6 months, they're simply not looking for anyone at this moment.  If you notice, Deal or No Deal if looking for contestants now.  They rotate thru, when different shows looking at different times.
